On the day Eddie Fisher returned to the sideline, he found himself in a scrum with an injured Nick Saban.
He was out there trying to get back on the court after being hit in the head by a diving tackle.
Fisher said that he thought he had an open head wound and thought that Saban was in the way.
He had to leave the court to get treatment.
That was when the Sharks’ first defensive lineman, Alex Balducci, went up and grabbed him.
Balducca had his hands around Fisher’s neck.
Balderucci and the rest of the team rushed the injured Fisher to the locker room, where he was put in the hospital.
He underwent surgery and is expected to be out for three to four months.
Fisher was the only member of the Sharks who returned for the game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Fisher, whose wife was with him, was asked whether he was disappointed with Saban’s reaction to the tackle.
“I’m not disappointed with him,” Fisher said.
I was just trying to protect my head, trying to keep my neck and neck and throat from hurting. “
He was in front of me, and I wasn’t really thinking about what he was saying to me.
I was just trying to protect my head, trying to keep my neck and neck and throat from hurting.
Saban was not the type of guy who would get into that sort of a situation, so it was a little surprising to me, but we got the right guy, and it was all about protecting the player.”
Saban had not spoken to Fisher since the tackle, but it appears that Saban didn’t take the tackle lightly.
“We’re talking about a head injury,” Saban said.
Fisher did not appear to be affected by the injury.
“It wasn’t anything to be concerned about, because I’m the one who got hurt,” Fisher told reporters.
“The whole thing happened at the line of scrimmage, so he was out of my line of sight.
It wasn’t a very good play, but I didn’t have a clue.”
Fisher also said that Saban made him feel like he was playing against his former team, a sentiment that Saban said was not true.
“He didn’t tell me, ‘Look, we’ve been playing against each other for five years now, and this is your first game,'” Saban said on the radio.
“And then he goes, ‘Oh, that’s my job, you’re the guy we’ve got to beat. “
We can’t go on a roll right now.’ “
And then he goes, ‘Oh, that’s my job, you’re the guy we’ve got to beat.
I knew that he was just going to get into it with me.” “
I knew he was going to take it like a champ.
I knew that he was just going to get into it with me.”
Saban did not say whether he would take the injury lightly, and he appeared to take his time with Fisher as well.
Saban said that Fisher had a tough time coming back from his injury and that he wasn’t able to do much on defense.
“Nick has been very, very professional, but he wasn [injured] in the first place,” Saban told ESPN’s Mike Francesa.
“But you know, it’s not like he had the game in him.”
Fisher said he was able to return to practice and work out, but that he felt that he needed to get in better shape.
“For whatever reason, I had some soreness in my back,” Fisher admitted.
“You know, I felt like I was still getting my strength back.
And then, when I came back, I didn, like, take the game seriously.”
Saban said he believed that Fisher was “just a little bit tired,” and that Fisher should have stayed on the sidelines and tried to get some help.
Fisher is hoping to be able to play again for the Alabama Crimson Tide in 2018.
“They need him,” Saban added.
