A man who was kidnapped by the Tamil Tigers on his way to work is now being taken to hospital after doctors discovered he had an enlarged prostate.
A team of doctors from the National Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) in Hyderabad performed the surgery at a private hospital in New Delhi’s western suburb of Karimnagar.
The man had undergone a procedure last week to remove the blood clot from his prostate.
The doctors said they had been surprised to see that the patient’s size had increased, with the patient now weighing 1.5 kilograms and weighing around 100 grams.
The doctor said the patient was in a good condition.
He was treated at the private hospital.
The hospital has a large waiting room, and the patients who have come here are usually admitted on the basis of a medical certificate.
The National Institute for Health, Medical Sciences and National Medical College, Hyderabad said that the procedure was not necessary because the patient had already had surgery to remove his blood clot and that he had no serious infection.
