Amy Fisher is the first of three stars to star in HBO’s new docuseries, Amy Fisher: Life After Amy.
The HBO series follows Fisher, a mother of two, as she takes on the world of motherhood in the 1980s.
Fisher has written and directed five films and starred in two others, including 2011’s Mother’s Day.
The series is the latest in the HBO series’ expanding roster of features.
Amy Fisher has made several feature films and television series, including Mother’s Night and The Way We Were, both of which won the Grand Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival.
Fisher is set to direct the new series from a script she co-wrote with former HBO star and Emmy-winning producer Mike Fleiss.
Amy has written, directed, and starred on HBO’s popular series of the same name.
